Drust was founded in 2014 by three friends and former colleagues at PSA (2nd biggest European car manufacturer): Michael Fernandez (CEO), Pascal Galacteros (COO) and Florent Pignal (CTO). They worked for seven years on developing engines and vehicles. During that time, they have seen tens of millions of Euros spent in order to save just half a gram of CO2 per km while 20g to 30g of savings (equivalent to a 25% reduction in fuel consumption) can be obtained simply by improving drivers’ behaviour. They decided to create Drust so they could devote themselves completely to driver behaviour.
That’s why they created a driver-centric platform that connects a driver to the heart of their car and the rest of the automobile’s ecosystem. It provides them with added value services via a mobile app to help them become informed and involved in their driving.
